University Licensed Computer Software

Owing to strict licensing policies, these files may only be downloaded from within the University of Melbourne, its outstations, affiliated campuses or the University's Information Services' dial-up service. If you attempt to download these files from outside the University, you may experience problems.

Due to the size of some of these files and the time it would take to download them using a standard home dial-in system, a companion CD has been developed. This CD is available from all University of Melbourne branch libraries for 7 day loan which will enable you to install any of the programs or help files directly on to your computer without the need to use a slow internet connection. The CD contains software and help files for PC’s, Macs and now also for Linux based computers. Further information regarding this CD can be obtained by emailing itkit@umpa.unimelb.edu.au
