Unicard

Unicard provides photocopying and printing services in all library branches, at the interim 24-hour Student IT facility at Monash Road, and at selected student IT facilities across all faculties (except in the Melbourne Graduate School of Education and the Melbourne School of Engineering which we anticipate will implement the Unicard service later this year).

  • Architecture and Planning Library
  • VCA Library
  • Percy Baxter Collaborative Learning Centre at first floor of Baillieu Library
  • Unicard Copyshop in the Baillieu Library basement (staff assisted)

Payment via your your student card OR your Unicard.

Double-sided copying and printing

Available from library machines. Saves paper and the environment. Cost is the same as for 2 single-sided pages.

Recycled paper

Recycled paper is available on selected machines at the Unicard Copyshop in the Baillieu Library basement.

The University of Melbourne student card

  • Photocopy and print value can be loaded using the Autoloader (view locations)
  • EFTPOS is available at the Unicard Office - $20 minimum, no cash out
  • Can have unlimited photocopy value added, however it is recommended that you do not add more value than you need.

NOTE: Photocopy value is not refundable or transferable. If your student card is lost, any value held on the card is also lost.

The Unicard photocopy/print card

A Unicard can be purchased from an Autoloader (view locations). They are located in all branches except Maths Sciences and Physics Research.

The Unicard:

  • costs $2
  • includes $1 photocopy/print value
  • is re-chargeable
  • can have unlimited photocopy/print value added.

EFTPOS is available only at the Unicard Office - $20 minimum, no cash out.

NOTE: The Unicard is NOT refundable or redeemable for cash. Do not charge with more credit than you need.
